Kinder Morgan Pipeline Maintenance and Restoration

Project Summary

This multi-year contract with Kinder Morgan involves anomaly digs around Skagit and Whatcom Counties. Many of these pipeline maintenance projects include excavation and shoring around the existing defected pipeline and rebuilding the natural habitat once repair work is complete. Several contracts have been performed across creeks and sensitive habitat and wetland areas and have required reconstruction of the surrounding area in order to mitigate impacts made during construction.

IMCO has been working around active pipelines under some of the strictest safety requirements in the industry. Our crews have excavated and trenched around existing pipelines in order to install main line valves and worked alongside Kinder Morgan to perform tie-ins. The scope of this work has included the construction of a concrete vault and a steel framed access building.
