Port of Longview Berth 4 Dock Demolition, Phase 2

Project Summary

The Berth 4 Dock Demolition, Phase 2 contract involved demolition and reconstruction of a critical dock along the Port of Longview's waterfront in Washington state.  Contract workers removed 1,000 creosote-coated wooden pilings at the old Berth 4 and built a new one in its place to use either as a parking space for ships or an export energy dock if a lease with Haven Energy is approved.

The Port of Longview project received substantial completion in December 2014.  The work was required to comply with in-water construction windows and also meet the requirements of the contract which meant year end completion.  IMCO's team was able to mobilize quickly upon award and get the work started and begin the demolition process.

IMCO started work in October and finished in December.
