Construction of the new facility includes modifications to the lagoon dike wall and roadway as well as a new concrete culvert channel for flow of the wastewater to the chlorine contact channel. Additionally, modification of the outfall diffusers in the Snohomish River, a new outfall hydraulic vault structure, and a new standby generator system are also included in the work. The outfall work is located west of the WPCF on the west side of Interstate 5.
