Culmback Dam Access Improvements
Project Summary
The project consisted of fabricating and installing a new galvanized steel stairway along the downstream face of Culmback Dam at Spada Lake, located about 20 miles North of Sultan, Washington. Work included approximately 283 feet of stairway with 13 intermediate landings installed on new cast-in-place pedestals, installation of an access ladder platform, access gates, new ladders to safely access the base of the Culmback Dam toe wall, and other miscellaneous work. This project was a requirement of the Jackson Project relicensing.
