Industrial Food Processing Facility Expansion
Supporting potato production through improved wastewater treatment technology





IMCO Construction is building the process water treatment facility for a major food company at their new potato processing plant in central Washington. The process water treatment system will treat waste process water and clean through a screening, clarification, and membrane treatment process for reuse in the client’s potato processing operations. Construction of the Project Rainier Process Water Treatment Facility includes the installation of screening, dissolved flotation, and clarification equipment as well as a complex chemical pumping and injection process that includes large scale water storage. The completion of this project incorporates hundreds of valves, thousands of feet of piping, more than 100 individual pieces of equipment, and a complex electrical system which includes instrumentation and controls.
