Downtown Boise Canal Lining Upgrade
Modernizing infrastructure for reliable water flow in urban irrigation canal
The Boise Project Board of Control awarded the New York Canal Lining project to IMCO Construction in 2024. IMCO crews replaced one linear mile of canal lining in the canal to enhance the canal’s integrity, improve water conservation, increase water-use efficiency, and ensure the canal’s reliability. Relining the canal was a top priority for the client, improving the management of water flowing through the New York Canal annually, conserving this vital resource, and maintaining the canal’s long-term functionality.
