IMCO Construction's STEM initiative is intended to cultivate ways to strengthen, thrive, empower, and mentor the women in the organization

IMCO’s STEM group toured the exceptional Kingston Ferry Terminal Seismic Retrofit project site in October 2025.

Since 2017 the STEM initiative at IMCO has intended to build community as a way to empower the women of IMCO and provides opportunities by creating a way for them to connect and strengthen their skills. STEM stands for strengthen, thrive, empower, and mentor. It is an initiative aimed at cultivating a work environment that encourages and supports the women working at IMCO and attracts talented women to the industry and the organization.
