Kenyon Street & 24th Avenue Emergency Watermain Repair
Working with the City to restore water service to local community
The City of Seattle hired IMCO to replace a broken 24-inch watermain in West Seattle. IMCO replaced the existing pipe with 700 feet of HDPE pipe via horizontal directional drilling 35-feet underneath Longfellow Creek. The pipe pull took approximately 10 hours and had to be thoughtfully coordinated with area residents and an adjacent elementary school. IMCO connected, pressure-tested, and sanitized the new pipe to restore water service to the area.
