This project has been honored with numerous awards, including an ENR Project of the Year and the AGC of Washington's Grand Award for Construction Excellence
Following the catastrophic Oso, WA landslide that covered a mile of the roadway in Northwest Washington, IMCO crews worked around the clock to complete this contract for WSDOT in under a month. The scope included the very careful removal of debris, erosion and water pollution control, and slope stabilization off State Route 530.The project was completed a week ahead of the very tight scheduling requirements, and IMCO Construction helped save WSDOT 47% of the original contract value.
