Washington State Ferries Infrastructure Renewal
Upgrading critical marine infrastructure across the Puget Sound
IMCO was awarded the Washington State Ferries system-wide ferry terminal contract to replace critical components at four terminals across the Puget Sound. Upgrades include headframes, lift beams, counterweights, and mechanical and electrical systems to allow transfer spans to adjust with tidal changes for vessel loading. The work will take place at Anacortes, Coupeville, Lopez Island, and Orcas Island ferry terminals. Work commences in June 2026 and is expected to be complete by March 2027.
