Wastewater Treatment Lagoon Expansion
Expanded treatment capacity supports the community’s rapid growth
Located in the beautiful foothills northwest of Boise, the town of Eagle is experiencing rapid growth and expansion. IMCO expanded the existing wastewater treatment system with two new aerated lagoon cells and two new settling lagoon cells, resulting in approximately 19 million gallons of additional water treatment volume.
The project included installation of aeration equipment, HDPE piping, ductile iron piping, valves, cast-in-place concrete structures, and testing and commissioning. IMCO’s in-house VDC team modelled the pipeline to show exact fittings, valves, and pipe lengths to lay out critical HDPE welds and meet control points in the contract. IMCO worked with Northwest Linings to line the four lagoons with HDPE liner.
