Hemingway Energy Storage Civil Development
Providing energy storage for the future
IMCO constructed two battery energy storage systems (BESS), the first in a series of projects providing the first utility-scale storage systems in the state. The 520 20,000-pound batteries can store 123 megawatts of power. IMCO work included site preparation, underground electrical, concrete pads, setting equipment, and integration into the power grid. The goal of this facility is to meet the rapidly growing demand in Treasure Valley and align with the client’s vision to produce 100% clean energy by 2045.
