On Tuesday, the IMCO estimating team submitted the lowest of six total bids to perform work as the General Contractor on the Port of Everett's South Terminal Wharf Upgrades project.

The $2 Million project will upgrade and rehabilitate a portion of the existing concrete wharf that was originally constructed in the 1970s. The scope includes demolition of existing structures, installation of steel pipe piles through the deck, rehabilitation and reinforcement of existing concrete pile caps both above and below the deck, construction of new concrete pile caps below the deck, installation of removable timber bullrail, installation of steel mooring bollard, and asphalt concrete pavement work.

The South Terminal Wharf project is the latest contract issued by the Port to help provide critical infrastructure for development plans along the working waterfront and marina district.
