Rehabilitation Project Gets Underway for Inarajan's As-Mina Bridge

GUAM - Ground was broken Thursday morning on the "As-Mina" bridge rehabilitation project in Inarajan.

The bridge is right next to the Chief Gadao statue.

DPW Director Carl Dominguez said the bridge, and its approaches, are being strengthened to ensure they can stand-up to even the strongest typhoons.

The project is being paid for with a  $1.2 million dollar grant from the Federal Highway Administration.

IMCO Construction is doing the job. The project is expected to be completed by May of next year.
