Waterfront Cleanup Project Continues with Demolition of 10,000-Square-Foot Building

IMCO General Construction demolishes the Carpenter Building at Fairhaven Shipyard on Tuesday, July 18, in Bellingham. The demolition is part of a $12.5 million Port of Bellingham waterfront cleanup project at the site of Fairhaven Shipyard. The 10,000-square-foot building was built in the early 1900s when a fish cannery occupied the area.
