City of Tacoma Puyallup Avenue Sewer Utility Preconstruction

IMCO has started preconstruction design services for the Puyallup Avenue Sewer Utility Replacement project. Under the progressive design build model, the project aims to reduce flooding in the downtown Dome District of Tacoma, Washington.

IMCO Construction and design partner Carollo will be responsible for determining the best alignment for new large-diameter pipe and re-use of existing pipeline infrastructure to solve flooding issues while minimizing impacts on the residents, businesses, and commuters in the area. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026.
