Mountain Home Air Force Base Water Resilience Design Build Project

Project Summary

Owned by the Idaho Water Resource Board (IWRB), this design build project includes a new raw water intake and pump station facility and approximately 14.5 miles of HDPE pipe. The pipeline will convey raw water from the Snake River to a future water treatment plant at the base, which is being constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Stantec is IMCO’s primary design partner for this design-build contract. IMCO was awarded the Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB) Water Resilience Project in November, 2023. The design includes an intake system to convey 3.64 million gallons per day through over 14 miles of pipeline. The project also includes a pump station building structure, fiber communications, SCADA, and controls for integration with the future MHAFB water treatment plant.
