Port of Northern Montana Multimodal Hub Center

IMCO oversaw construction of this impressive, federally funded railroad project for the City of Shelby and the Northern Express Transportation Authority. This was the fourth and final phase of a massive regional railroad upgrade project that helped relocate a small BNSF railway facility from downtown to an industrial park just outside of town. This was known to be an over capacity critical rail hub connecting the booming economies of North Dakota and Alberta with the west coast. The Multimodal Hub Center can accommodate more traffic and longer trains in order to meet the needs of the growing economy in the region.
