Tolt Pipeline Water Supply Reinforcement

Strengthening Seattle’s regional water supply through pipeline restoration

This project involved the rehabilitation of 2,500 linear feet of the Tolt Pipeline No. 1 using 54-inch HDPE pipe installed by slip-lining. The scope included connections to an existing 66-inch pipeline, installation of blowoff valves and chambers, construction of an access port and air release chamber, and associated site restoration. Most of the work was performed beneath live power lines, requiring the construction team to maintain a strong safety culture and prioritize safe practices throughout every phase of the project. The effort demonstrated an effective partnership with the City and a commitment to delivering quality work under challenging conditions.
